Nanda Rommelse

Dr. Nanda Lambregts-Rommelse is GZ-psycholoog in opleiding tot klinisch neuropsycholoog bij Karakter kinder en jeugdpsychiatrie, en universitair hoofddocent bij het Radboudumc. Ze combineert patiëntenzorg, onderwijs en wetenschappelijk onderzoek, met als doel dat innovaties vanuit onderzoek sneller hun weg vinden naar de patiëntenzorg en vragen vanuit patiëntenzorg sneller worden vertaald in relevante onderzoeksprojecten, vooral op het gebied van diagnostiek en behandeling. Ze is actief op het gebied van ADHD en/of autisme in combinatie met een hoogbegaafdheid of een licht verstandelijke beperking.

Aandachtsgebieden

  • Wat zijn voorlopers (precursors) van neurobiologische ontwikkelingsstoornissen (ADHD, autisme, licht verstandelijke beperking)? Biedt dit ingang voor vroegherkenning? Welke innovatieve diagnostische methodes zijn daar het meest geschikt voor?
  • Welke biologische, psychologische en sociale factoren spelen hierbij een rol? Wordt door het beïnvloeden van deze factoren de ‘onset’ van een neurobiologische ontwikkelingsstoornis verhinderd of verminderd in ernst?
  • Hoe ontwikkelen symptomen van neurobiologische stoornissen zich over de tijd en welke bio-psychosociale factoren beïnvloeden dit beloop? Beïnvloedt interventie gericht op deze factoren het beloop op positieve wijze?
  • In hoeverre is de fenotypische expressie van neurobiologische ontwikkelingsstoornissen afhankelijk van leeftijd? Geeft dit richting aan diagnostische en behandelinnovaties?
