Marie-José van Hoof is kinder- en jeugdpsychiater, psychotraumatherapeut en orthopedagoge. Ze is zelfstandig gevestigd te Leiden en richt zich op expats, tweede/derde generatieproblematiek en chronische/terminale ziekte bij kinderen en jongeren. Zij specialiseert zich in gehechtheid, psychotrauma, emotieregulatie, angst-, dwang- en stemmings- en somatoforme stoornissen. Van Hoof is daarnaast onderzoeker bij Curium-LUMC.
