Lisbeth Utens is als bijzonder hoogleraar Cognitieve Gedragstherapie bij kinderen en jongeren, en als klinisch psycholoog BIG, werkzaam bij het TOPGGz expertisecentrum Dwang, Angst, Tics en Depressie (DAT) van het academische centrum voor kinder- en jeugdpsychiatrie de Levvel, Amsterdam.  Daarnaast is zij werkzaam bij de Faculteit der Maatschappij- en Gedragswetenschappen van de Universiteit van Amsterdam. Lisbeth is ook als UHD/ research coördinator Pediatrische Psychologie verbonden aan het ErasmusMC, afdeling kinder- en jeugdpsychiatrie.
