Jacqueline Strik is psychiater en werkzaam binnen het Maastricht Universiteitscentrum (MUMC+). Zij is staflid op de afdeling Psychiatrie en Psychologie (sinds 2016 plaatsvervangend hoofd) in de zorglijn ‘Psychiatrie en somatische comorbiditeit’. Jacqueline promoveerde op het onderwerp “Depressie na myocard infarct”. Daarnaast is zij hoofdopleider van de opleiding Psychiatrie, waarvan 7 jaar lang opleider voor Mondriaan voor GGZ geweest. In 2017 volgde Jacqueline dr. Jan Schieveld op in zijn taken als kinderpsychiater. Zij werken samen binnen de zorglijn ‘Neuropsychiatrie in kritisch zieke kinderen’ binnen kliniek, wetenschap en opleiding.
