Daniëlle is orthopedagoge en werkt als universitair docent en onderzoeker bij de afdeling Pedagogische Wetenschappen aan de Universiteit van Amsterdam. Als docent begeleidt Daniëlle bachelor en master studenten bij hun thesis. Ook geeft zij colleges over opvoedingsgedrag, emotieregulatie en psychopathologie.
