Christel Hessels

Christel Hessels is klinisch psycholoog en P-opleider bij GGz Centraal. Zowel in haar klinisch werk als in haar wetenschappelijk onderzoek heeft zij zich gespecialiseerd in het werken met jonge mensen met (kenmerken van) borderline persoonlijkheidsstoornissen (BPS). In 2017 promoveerde zij aan de Universiteit Utrecht met haar proefschrift ‘Borderline personality disorder in young people: complexities in understanding of and relating to others’. Zij heeft het programma voor vroege interventie voor BPS ‘Helping Young People Early’ (HYPE) in Nederland geïmplementeerd. Christel is docent, supervisor (NVP, VKJP) en daarnaast psychotherapeut en supervisor in Cognitieve Analytische Therapie (CAT).
