Chaim Huijser is kinder- en jeugdpsychiater, (plaatsvervangend) opleider kinder- en jeugdpsychiatrie en geneesheer-directeur van Levvel, academisch centrum kinder- en jeugdpsychiatrie Amsterdam. Hij is voor de patiëntenzorg werkzaam in het landelijk team van de Bascule en boegbeeld van het TOPGGZ expertise centrum dwang-angst-tics (DAT). Chaim is gepromoveerd op ‘Neuroimaging studies in pediatric obsessive compulsive disorder’ (2011). Daarnaast is hij lid van de adviesraad van de Tourette Stichting en de expertraad van Balans/Nederlandse Vereniging voor Autisme. Ook is Chaim redactielid Journaal GGZ en recht en voorheen was hij bestuurslid NVvP, afdeling kinder- en jeugdpsychiatrie (2011-2017)
